Introduction to Self Accompanied Singing

For Children Ages 8-12

This workshop introduces young aspiring musicians to the ukulele for the purpose of accompanying themselves while singing.

Basic chord progressions will be taught that will enable the young singer to sing traditional folk songs and some popular songs.

The class will also include singing fundamentals,

pitch, rhythm and note reading.

Number of students per class 4-8

Cost for ukulele and materials: $215.

Tuition: One hour lessons for 8 weeks $400.
